Chevy dealer aids cancer fight

Phillips Chevrolet in Frankfort last week presented a check for $23,559 to the Illinois division of the American Cancer Society. The dealership took part in Making Strides Against Breast Cancer events during October, which included a raffle drawing and a visit and autograph session with Chicago Bear Michael Bush.

Rizza event aids Erin?s AAIM for Change

Joe Rizza Ford Orland Park, a member of Rizza Enterprises, took part last week in the ?Go Further with Ford-2013 Ford Fusion? event which showcased the vehicle and also aided the Erin?s AAIM for Change organization. For every registered guest at the event, $10 was donated to Erin?s AAIM, an Orland Park-based organization dedicated to raising awareness of the dangers of drunken driving. It was founded in 1997 after Erin Olmstead, a high school senior, was killed by a drunk driver. The event also marked the launch of Rizza Ford?s Toys for Tots collection drive.
