iPad 2 now available in India: Price details revealed | Ready2beat.com

On March 07, 2012 at San Francisco, Apple unveiled the new iPad3. At the same event, the company also announced that the iPad2 will hit the stores in many countries with a slashed price. The price cut will be applicable for India too. The price drop will be around $100 for the US. Earlier the gadget was priced around Rs 29,500 for India. Now it will cost about Rs 24,500 for the 16GB Wi-Fi only model while with 3G it may cost around Rs 32,900.

Powered by an Apple A5 1Gh processor, the Apple iPad runs on iOS 4.3. The device has a dimension of 241.2x185.7x8.8 mm and weighs around 601 grams. It has a 9.7 inch wide LED backlit multi touch display with IPS technology and a resolution of 1024x768 pixels. With a fingerprint resistant oleophobic coating, it flaunts 2 cameras for HD video recording and Face Time. The battery of the device offers continuous entertainment for up to 10 hours. It is also equipped with Bluetooth 2.1+EDR technology.

It may take some days for the new price to be communicated in the retail and online market, so you will have to wait for a week to get the gadget with the new price. There is no news about the price of the iPad3 in India. From March 16, the new iPad will be available in stores across US and some other countries also.
